Amy is a Research Scientist at Phenome Health, specializing in developing knowledge graph-based solutions to model and analyze genomic and phenomic data. With a BA in Biology from the University of Vermont and a PhD in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Amy has led the design and development of advanced biomedical knowledge graphs, reasoning engines, and specialized graph database platforms. Her work has focused on enhancing data integration, optimizing query performance, and advancing methods for uncovering complex biological relationships. At Phenome Health, she applies this expertise to advance computational tools that drive personalized and predictive healthcare.
In her free time, Amy loves mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, and dirt bike trail riding. She is a member of the University of Vermont Athletic Hall of Fame for her achievements in cross-country skiing, including a national collegiate championship.
